Welcome to the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Faculty Portal

You can use the Portal to Manage/View Letters of Accommodation (LOA) for students enrolled in your courses.

Accommodation letters: On this screen, you will notice a column titled 'Your confirmation'.  This feature is available for your own student management and tracking.  It is not monitored by SAS.

Courses On this screen, you can manage the Letters of Accommodation for each course instead of by each student. This may be helpful if you are teaching multiple courses.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between SAS and faculty, please consider:

  • forwarding a copy of course syllabus(i) to sastesting@nipissingu.ca, as this greatly faciliates the scheduling of accommodated testing.
  • adding the following information about SAS on your course syllabus:

"Student Accessibility Services (SAS) assists students with permanent and temporary disabilities including, but not limited to: Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, ADHD, Sensory Disabilities, Medical and Physical Disabilities (including temporary injuries such as concussions etc.)

  • Not registered with SAS but would like more information?  If you believe you may need academic accommodation or supports due to disability, please contact SAS at sas@nipissingu.ca,  visit B210 or go to "New Student" section of our webpage.
  • Already registered with Student Accessibility Services?  Make sure to approve your accommodations for this term by going to the ClockWork Student Portal and clicking "Accommodations-Review and Confirm".  Your instructors will receive your Letter of Accommodation (LOA) and you will be able to access your accommodations, such as accommodated testing and note taking.   Your accommodations can be reviewed at any time by contacting your Accessibility Consultant."

Please don't hesitate to contact us you require any additional information. E-mail sas@nipissingu.ca.

THANK YOU for supporting our students!
